Vania L. Hosea
Attorney Bio
Vania L. Hosea graduated from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2005 after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Tuskegee University in 2001. In law school, Vania was a member of the Trial Competition Team, a recipient of the Alabama Circuit Judges’ and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association Scholarship. While in law school, Vania received the Best Paper Award for Legal Research and Writing I. After graduation from law school, Vania served as the Director of Admissions at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Upon leaving that position, she began practicing in the areas of general litigation. Vania practices primarily in the areas of workers compensation, personal injury, family and domestic relations and juvenile law. She is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Capital City Bar Association.
Vania is also involved in community and social activities, such as serving on the Community Council Board of the United Way and as an active member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
William K. Abell
Attorney Bio
William K. Abell graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1979 after receiving a Bachelors degree from Troy State University cum laude in 1973. During law school, he served as President of Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity. Upon graduation, he went on to practice in the areas of criminal, civil and domestic litigation. Today he is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama and practices primarily in the area of catastrophic injury claims, workers compensation and personal injury. He has recovered many substantial verdicts for his clients. He serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers. He has served as a featured speaker at seminars throughout the state in the area of workers compensation and several of his course curriculum handouts have been published. He has co-authored The Trial Handbook for Alabama Lawyers, 2nd Edition.
